This January, Enterasys hosted the first ever CIO Mobility Innovation Summit. The event, held at world famous Gillette Stadium, featured keynote remarks by Jonathan Kraft, president of the New England Patriots, and a “City of Champions” panel of IT innovators from the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox. Thought leaders gathered at the event to discuss mobile innovations in their organizations and bolstering the fan experience through technology.

Over 125 customers, press, and analysts attended the Summit and the speakers’ thoughts and ideas received media attention in outlets such as CNN.com, the front page of the Boston Globe, and in industry publications such as Information Week and Network World. Social media played a large part in spreading the excitement and sharing the event with those who couldn’t attend in person. Through Twitter, over 1.2M users saw tweets containing photos and praise for the event’s speaking lineup under the #CIOchamps hashtag.
In addition to the powerful speaker and panelist line up and a laser focus on the drivers behind a mobile stadium, the event featured Patriots' alum and sports commentator Scott Zolak signing autographs, a visit from Pat Patriot and two Patriots cheerleaders, a raffle in which Enterasys awarded 7 winners with iPad Minis, and stadium tours including the locker room and the turf!
